Job Summary:

The Senior Enrollment Services Clerk is responsible for accounts receivable collections for selected delinquent accounts, the processing of Third Party Billing for tuition payments from corporations, and/or the processing of Electronic Funds (EFT) from lending institutions for alternative/private loans and N.J. Class loans in paper format as well.  This position also serves as a back-up to the Lead Account Clerk position, and performs the duties of the Enrollment Services Clerk.  
Required Qualifications:
1.      Three years experience in office clerical work, preferably including accounting and bookkeeping functions. 
 
2.      A minimum of two years experience as an Enrollment Services Clerk or similar experience, preferably at a college or university, which demonstrates an understanding of the functions of a Registrar or Bursar’s Office.  
 
3.      Strong math and computation skills.  
 
4.      Proficiency utilizing computer systems for data management, word processing and other applications.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Familiarity with Datatel a plus.  
 
5.      Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.  
 
6.      Ability to work independently and follow explicit instructions due to the nature of the responsibilities to comply with Federal and State regulations.  
 
7.      Must be available to work overtime and non-standard hours as required, i.e., evenings, weekends, during peak periods throughout the year.  
 
8.      Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.  Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
