We have developed an innovative new platform for the rapid, high throughput discovery of immune-oncology targets and therapeutic antibodies to combat ovarian cancer. We are seeking a scientist to drive antibody/target discovery and assay development efforts within our growing team. As an integral part of our team, the scientist will lead efforts for the development of cell-based binding and functional assays, antibody screening, novel surface target validation, and antibody characterization. This is a unique opportunity to creatively contribute to many in vitro and in vivo aspects of therapeutic antibody discovery. The successful candidate will have a leading role within a team of scientists and research associates.   • Oversee and perform antibody screening and characterization
  • Lead assay development for binding and functional antibody characterization
  • Lead efforts to explore various antibody modalities including ADCs, and T-cell engagers
  • Contribute to the development/establishment of in vitro and in vivo cancer models
  • Manage relationships with contract research organizations
  • Help with the identification of lead candidates by literature evaluation and expression analysis
  • Help with the design and implementation of in vivo studies
  • Work as part of the scientific team to implement experimental plans and help were needed
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements/Skills:

  • PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology or related field with 2+ years post-graduate experience
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture models and cell line engineering
  • Significant experience in antibody discovery and/or antibody engineering as well as design, execution, and analysis of assays for lead identification
  • Significant experience with biochemical antibody characterization (Octet, Biacore)
  • Proficiency in basic molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work ethic

Desired additional skills (preferred, not required):

  • Experience with phage display
  • Knowledge of in vivo preclinical oncology models
  • Experience managing CROs
  • Experience managing junior team members
