The Department of Psychology has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Study Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Study Coordinator will coordinate research activities for a multi-site and multi-year research study funded by the National Institutes of Health on everyday stressors, resilience, and substance use among African American/Black young adults.

The Acculturation, Diversity, and Psychopathology Team (ADAPT; Principal Investigator: Priscilla Lui ) is a vibrant and diverse lab focused on health disparities/mental health and addictive behaviors in underrepresented minority and underserved populations. Research topics include sociocultural risks and resilience factors of young adult substance use and mental health, measurement development and psychometric evaluation, and meta-science. In addition to primary responsibilities, there may be opportunities to conduct mentored research, submit presentations to conferences, and assist in preparing manuscripts for publication. This position is ideal for graduates interested in pursuing an advanced degree in psychology or related fields.
