POSITION PURPOSE
To conduct research related to award # GR033584 (Mosquito Learning NSF). The Research Scientist will perform learning and memory experiments on the mosquito, Aedes aegypti. This an NSF-funded position to perform research according to the research described in the proposal.

POSITION COMPLEXITIES AND IMPACT
The Research Scientist (Research Scientist/Engineer 4 (E S UAW RSE) - Riffell Lab) is expected to trouble shoot experimental and technical problems. The Research Scientist is expected independently and help lead teams and help guide research in the domain of the NSF grant. Has established technical expertise; serves as a resource to research unit/department and UW. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments.
