Research Project Assistant

This person will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of multiple projects across PaRC. Primary duties for this hybrid position (combination of remote and in-person work as needed) may include: 1) research participant recruitment, 2) project administrative duties, and 3) data collection and entry. This is a great opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and develop your research skills! The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree and availability for 1-2 years, but we welcome all interested applicants. Prior research experience is not necessary, but preferred. Successful applicants will have strong organizational and communication skills. An interest in palliative care is a plus!



Job Summary

Executes protocol-related research procedures, activities, outreach, and education. Manages a complex program or study or multiple programs and studies. Collects and analyzes data and complies with all policies and regulations. Recommends improvements to policy and procedure.


Essential Functions 

Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.


Physical Effort 

Position is mostly sedentary work. Some meetings are on campus or at a clinic.
