Job Summary | The Obstetrics & Gynecology Research Network has an opening for a Research Development Associate for a social science research project in the health field. This individual will provide support for a large-scale grant funded project focusing on provider bias and stigma in connection with providing peri-delivery care to individuals with substance use disorder. The Research Associate will support the project leads in facilitation and organization of study tasks, including participant enrollment, follow up, and compensation, focus group and interview qualitative support and design and implementation of educational activities including logistics associated with project implementation. This role supports and implements a wide range of strategic, proactive, and capacity building activities designed to enable and enhance research and may include strategic research advancement, communication of research and research opportunities, enhancement of collaboration and team science, and proposal development. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree + two years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
Preferences | Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field. Successful candidates will be independent self-starters; be willing to learn study interview, research and assessment techniques; be willing to work outside of traditional work hours in order to recruit and interview participants; have excellent communication and organizational skills; work well with a team and be comfortable with computer databases; seek solutions to problems; invest in creating a sustainable infrastructure to support research; seek solutions to problems; be proactive in working on various protocols.
