Essential Functions (Job Duties)
A Research Assistant/Post-Doctoral/Research Associate
Position is available to study molecular mechanisms involved in prostate cancer bone metastasis.
Cell and Molecular Biology techniques including Western blot analysis, kinase activity, transfections, tissue culture, cell signaling, and work with animal and patients samples.
Actively involved in data analysis and interpretation, manuscript preparation, grant submission and presentation of work in departmental seminars and national meetings.

Bachelor's degree required  
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree required for Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow position
Doctoral degree must have been received within last three years for Postdoctoral Research Fellow position
The ideal candidate for Post-Doctoral/Research Associate will have an interest in cancer biology, self-motivated, with oral/written communication skills and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
For Research assistant position, the candidate is expected to have expertise in standard biochemical, molecular and cellular biology techniques. Ability to work with experimental animals and patient samples and knowledge in histopathology are advantageous.
