Position Summary/Description:


This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
This Research Assistant position (Permanent Time-Limited up to 2 years) will work with the Children's Healthy Weight Research group on the Go NAPSACC Cares project (National Institutes of Health R01 funded study). The position will lead recruitment and data collection in child care centers. 
The Research Assistant will assist in prepping materials for recruitment and data collection. Be trained on all study protocols; Lead recruitment and data collection of child care center directors, teachers, and 2-5 year old children on site at child care centers in central North Carolina. The position will monitor the study email for questions from participants, assist the project manager with data checking for accuracy and completeness. The Research Assistant will assist with data entry and cleaning and assist with online gift card management and procurement and receipt of incentives.
Some evening hours will be required.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
