Job Summary
Performs varied support functions, including organizing, gathering and analyzing data. Contributes information or materials for research projects for Physician Assistant Studies program. 
Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize and manage research data using Excel and other programs as requested
  • Create and manage surveys using various programs  
  • Compiles data from a variety of sources. 
  • Maintains files and records of research data
  • Assists in the preparation of manuscripts and presentation materials. 
  • Drafts correspondence to answer inquiries and respond to requests about the projects. 
  • Edits research papers, project reports, and publication materials. 
  • May travel to a variety of sites both within and outside the University campus to obtain data.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. A valid Utah Driver’s License may be required in certain departments.
Preferences
Extensive experience using Excel to manage data
Organized and able to accomplish various tasks and meet deadlines
Experience working with HRSA grant reporting
