Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The position of Program Management Specialist will work with the Director of CGMS to promote research, coalition building, community outreach, and public history projects that emphasize how migrants and migration have shaped human histories and cultures historically and across international frames. The specialist will work with units across campus, affiliate faculty and programs, history faculty and staff, technology services, our development committee, library and archives, community partners to provide administrative services covering our major programs including event and conference planning ,website development and maintenance, social media outreach, marketing, communication, and research project coordination. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Education: Bachelors degree. Experience: Two years experience in administrative staff work. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. |
