The Program Coordinator provides a high level of professional, administrative and managerial support for the International Center for Gaming Regulation (the "Center"). Reporting directly to the Center's Executive Director, the Program Coordinator will assist, manage and execute the Center's educational programs as well as advisory and research functions of the Center. The Program Coordinator will also work alongside staff members of the Center to manage and coordinate program calendaring, budgeting, marketing, execution and post-program satisfaction surveys. The Program Coordinator will also manage additional programs including on-line interactive leadership council meetings, coordination and delivery of on-line educational programs and is expected to assist the Executive Director in any additional duties as assigned. The Program Coordinator will work with UNLV students, faculty and other departments and colleges as needed to advocate for the financial and reputational success of the Center. This is a highly visible position which will be required to interact with community stakeholders as well as Hotel and Gaming VIPs on highly confidential materials on a daily basis. The applicant must be able to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent events held by the Center in an organized, efficient and timely fashion. Failure to do so would result in loss of funding and complications managing programs and research. The applicant must be able to think and act quickly as the dynamics of the department change frequently. The applicant must also possess a positive attitude and be comfortable working in a small team environment. This role has extremely high responsibility, difficulty, and accountability levels. The position will involve making independent choices on a daily basis in order to maintain the mission and objectives of the Center.

Additionally, this role will coordinate on-site logistics including day-of management of guest speakers, catering, parking, transportation, facilities management, A/V with vendors, and other duties needed to fully execute educational programs. Assist as program co-moderator during single and multi-day on-line educational programs. Plan, organize and execute logistics for leadership and research meetings and functions as well as hosted community engagement events. This position may also support the Operations & Marketing Manager to plan, organize and execute other functions and meetings for the Center. Ensure that the Center is represented with the utmost professional and thorough manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 3-5 years of related administrative experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

  • Strong knowledge and experience using WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Office suite, and social media including LinkedIn and Twitter.

  • Ability to host, direct and coordinate small and large group functions in an on-line and in-person environment.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
