Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is an hourly professional position that will require extensive coordination with the Institute, campus, and Colorado entrepreneurship teams. The program coordinators responsibility is support campus facing programs including scheduling, participant communication, coordination, and data tracking for the Venture Validator, Venture Jumpstart, Venture Accelerator, and NSF I-Corps programs. 
The program coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the I4E student ambassadors club and supporting the Executive Director in establishing and maintaining the affiliate faculty program.
The program coordinator will also be responsible for the oversight and scheduling of the I4E Venture Lounge to help support our entrepreneurial teams.
Additionally this position provides executive-level administrative support to the Executive Director in fulfilling their administrative responsibilities including scheduling and communications with the I4E board. The executive assistant has primary responsibility to coordinate the schedules and agendas for the ED and provide all aspects of executive administrative support.
Position Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working in higher education entrepreneurship programs
  • Experience working in administrative capacities.
  • Experience working as an executive assistant

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years working at a university entrepreneurship center

Essential Job Duties

Duty/Responsibility
  • Manage scheduling, communications, enrollment and data collection for the Venture Validator, Venture Jumpstart and Venture Accelerator Programs.
  • Coordinate with Executive Director and Director of Venture Development to support events and promotional materials for the NSF I-Corps program 
  • Support the enrollment and promotion of the Designing for Defense course, including classroom support for the faculty instructors.
  • Manage and support the I4E Student Ambassador program
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and programming associated with the I4E Venture Lounge
  • Support the faculty director in the creation and development of the I4E affiliate faculty model.  
  • Host general office hours as needed
  • Work with ED and Assistant Director to refine I4E mentorship program and improve venture tracking.

  • Performs all aspects of administrative support for the executive director whom the position reports.
  • Manages communications and scheduling for the Executive Director related to the I4E advisory board
  • Provides effective management of the Executive Directors schedule by evaluating competing priorities and ensuring coordination and categorization around additional commitments and standing engagements
