Position Summary

The New Mexico Statistical Analysis Center (NMSAC) is hiring a Program Assistant.  The individual will primarily assist with evaluation projects though may assist with research projects as needed.

Tasks are expected to consist of conducting observations; administering surveys; populating tables from data output; preparing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative survey data; and writing reports.

During the spring semester, the individual would work minimal hours or on an on-call basis. During the summer, the individual would be expected to work at least 25 hours per week. There are opportunities for employment after the summer for interested and qualified applicants.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
  • Good writing skills
  • Knowledge of SPSS is a plus along with prior evaluation or research experience is preferred
