Specifically in this role you will assist with the Physics and Engineering Festival arrangements. This position is needed to support the students who build and/or demonstrate projects in Physics and Engineering Festival. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous work within an outreach program.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Other Requirements:

  • This position is temporary/casual.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work with TAMU outreach program.

Responsibilities:

  • Advertising - Advertises Physics and Engineering Festival through email, social media, and direct contacts with schools.

  • Logistics - Assists with festival organization activities.

  • Virtual arrangements - Works on items related to virtual festival offerings, such as demo videos and promotion.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
