Description

The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are searching for a full-time Professor to serve as the Gastrointestinal Cancer Program Leader and Associate Director for Experimental Therapeutics in the Comprehensive Cancer Center. The appointee will partner closely with institutional leadership to provide outstanding clinical care, innovation, and programmatic growth. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. 

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Hematology and/or Oncology.

We especially welcome applicants with past and/or current leadership experience in gastrointestinal clinical and research programs, as well as experience directing young adult cancer programs.
