Job Description Summary:
Assist clinical trial staff with IV infusions, laboratory processing and clinical
assessments for research protocols. Hours vary and are dependent on
clinical trial needs.
This position will pay $31.42 an hour.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
  • Current License with the Kansas State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree.
  • One or more years of health care experience.
  • One or more years of clinical research experience.
  • Lab collection & processing knowledge.
  • Infusion experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish.


Job Duties Outlined:

  • Medication administration; injection, IV infusion, port infusion. 60%
  • Lab collection and processing: 20%
  • Clinical research study coordination. 10%
  • Clinical research assessments. 10%

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
