Job Description

Friends University is seeking to fill the Part-Time Assistant Coach Strength & Conditioning position in Wichita Kansas. This position assists in the direction strength and conditioning programming and training for Friends University Student-Athletes.  Recruit, retain, train, and mentor powerlifting student-athletes. Manage and maintain Friends University weight room.

Skills & Requirements

Two years of coaching is preferred. 

Bachelor’s degree is required. Masters preferred. SNC certification and NSCA-CSCS or CSCCa-SCCC certifications strongly preferred.  Complete, or ability to complete 3D Coaching Certification upon hiring.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to multi-task and be a part of a fast-paced demanding environment. Ability to maintain confidential information, strong time management and leadership development skills. Must be able to work in a variety of weather and able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
