Job Description Summary:
This is a one year predoctoral fellowship for Kansas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND)! The fellowship will resemble the responsibilities outlined in the postdoctoral fellowship on our website with emphasis on ASD/DD assessment and intervention within interdisciplinary practice, continuing education and community training such as the Childcare Continuing Education Webinar Project, and certification in behavioral interventions such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and the GNO-Teen Skills group curriculum. Fellowship activities also include engagement in research and evaluation projects with faculty, dissemination through presentations/publications, and time for a continuation of current research activities.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree. Enrolled in Ph.D. or Psy. D. program in clinical child psychology, pediatric psychology, school psychology, applied behavior analysis, or other related disciplines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Enrolled in Ph.D. or Psy. D. program in clinical child psychology, pediatric psychology, school psychology, applied behavior analysis, or other related disciplines.
  • Work Experience: At least two years professional experience in an interdisciplinary setting. Experience in interdisciplinary educational programs relating to children with special health care needs and their families is desirable. 
  • Skills: Great communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with people from many professional disciplines. Knowledge of interdisciplinary settings and functions. Knowledge of the field and current trends regarding children with special health care needs and their families.
