Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is seeking two postdoctoral fellows in the field of translational medicine using cell and molecular biological approaches.  The applicant should have profound experience in one or two of the following research areas: epigenetic regulation on gene expression including microRNA and long noncoding RNA (lncRNA); mechanisms of diabetes and osteoporosis; regenerative medicine using mRNA strategy; experimental pathology of disease models; using nanomaterials to deliver therapeutic molecules; application of 10 transgenic and gene knockout mouse lines generated in the Chen Lab. The postdoctoral fellows will be working under the supervision of Dr. Jake Chen and supported by his current NIH grants. Dr. Chen's laboratory is conveniently located in downtown area of Boston, MA.

The postdocs should have a PhD degree from a renowned lab with strong publication(s). The candidate should have mastered the most advanced techniques and methodology in cell and molecular biology and been relatively independent and able to generate and propose feasible research hypotheses.  The fellows should have excellent composition and writing skills for scientific papers.   The postdoc fellow should be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other lab staff including technicians, students and other research fellows.
