Posting Summary
The group of Gabriel Kotliar at Rutgers University is seeking outstanding postdoctoral associates to join his group. The position is available immediately. The successful candidate will work on a variety of research problems ranging from the conceptual challenges posed by strongly correlated electron out of equilibrium to the construction of first principles methods for the first principles precision of physical properties of correlated materials.
Strong analytical and computational skills are required. Familiarity with Dynamical Mean Field Theory or other quantum embedding methods is a plus.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics, materials science, or a similar discipline by the start date of the position.

Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
