Our laboratory seeks a Post-Doctoral fellow for our on-going research studies investigating prefrontal cortex brain structure and physiology of cortical pathway in monkeys. Our lab combines anatomical and viral tracing, with in vivo electrophysiological recordings in anesthetized preparations, optogenetic stimulation and whole cell patch-clamp recording in in vitro slices, to investigate the cellular and synaptic properties of prefrontal circuits involved in cognitive and emotional control and integration. Preferred expertise include optogenetics, optical methods and imaging of voltage-sensitive dyes, and multiphoton microscopy.
