Position Summary
The Neuromechanics Lab in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC and NC State has an opening for a postdoctoral scholar position to conduct research in neural engineering and neural stimulation (peripheral nerve or spinal cord), targeting motor or sensory functional impairment of clinical populations.
 
Educational Requirements
A PhD in biomedical engineering, physiology, neuroscience, or in a closely related area.
 
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in electrical stimulation of neural tissue 
Previous experience in neurophysiological signal acquisition and biosignal processing
Previous experience in working with human participants, especially clinical populations (e.g., individuals with a stroke)
Ability to work in a team with a diverse background
