Job Summary
The Department of Toxicology & Cancer Biology is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Scholar for the lab of Dr. Eunus Ali, Assistant Professor. This position will be responsible for dissecting the dysregulated metabolic pathways in cancer utilizing in vitro biochemical approaches, metabolomics, metabolic flux analysis, heavy isotope tracing, and animal models. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in mass spectroscopy-based metabolomics or proteomics, and/or the biochemistry of metabolism is highly desirable, but not required. Experience with LC-MS or the datasets associated with metabolic studies is a plus. 
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
1)     Ability to work in a collegial and cooperative manner with the faculty supervisor and other co-workers.
2)     Written and oral communications skills. Knowledge and experience with computer programs including word processing, Excel, Powerpoint and statistical analysis software.
3)     Mentor and train graduate and undergraduate students.
4)     Attend conferences to present findings to broader scientific community.
Write manuscripts, postdoctoral fellowships, and assist with other funding applications.
