Post-Doctoral Position - Oncology & molecular biology & radiology imaging - (230000YP)
 

Exciting positions for postdoctoral fellows or research specialists in molecular biology / biochemistry at the PhD level are currently available at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Skill with molecular biology techniques such as cloning, virus design and construction, and gene expression in vitro and in vivo is needed. Expertise in stem cells and immune cells such as NK and T cells is desirable. Familiarity with FACS is desirable. Ability to characterize and test these including in animal models is advantageous. Characterizing mechanism(s) is advantageous. Other skills of interest include familiarity with imaging, such as with PET, MR, and optical imaging. The candidates will have the opportunity to work with others and independently, being responsible for literature analysis; experimental design, execution, and analysis; and manuscript writing and submission. Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external collaborators will enhance success. The candidates will work in consultation with the Principal Investigator, Vikas Kundra, M.D., Ph.D., Chief of Oncologic Imaging.
