Post Doctoral Associate
The Department of Statistics in the School of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate for a grant funded one-year appointment starting July 1, 2024, working with Professors Cun-Hui Zhang, Rong Chen and Han Xiao. The position may be renewable for a second year. The successful candidate will work on a project supported by a NSF FRG grant. Ability to develop innovative statistical methods, theory and applications of high dimensional time series are essential. A PhD in Statistics or a related field is required. Research interests in high-dimensional stationary and nonstationary time series analysis, non-Gaussian time series, space-time processes, as well as the (distributional) computational problems arising in these areas is highly desired. The successful candidate must also demonstrate innovative thinking and the ability to work independently. Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
