Description of Work Unit
The Research Business Office supports the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering by working with faculty to submit proposals for all external research and other sponsored project funding, managing the financial aspects from implementation through close out, and maintaining documentation for potential audits.

Position Summary
This position supports the financial research project managers (RPMs) in Post Award.  They will download data from CSU systems into excel reports used to communicate with faculty researchers. 
Position Minimum Qualifications
·       High School diploma
·       Experience with excel, budgets, data entry, basic business operations activities
·       General understanding of financial reporting (fringe rates, overhead, etc.)
·       Attention to detail 
Preferred Qualifications
·       Experience with pivot tables

Download financial data from various software programs (e.g., Symphony, KFS, WebFocus) and paste it into excel report. This may involve creating new reports or adding to reports that have already been created.

At the direction of the RPMs, submit requests for salary reallocations (PPDAs). Also, data entering general ledger transfers (GLTs) for non-salary expenditures in the Kuali Financial System (KFS).
