Title: Player Development and Video Assistant, Women’s Basketball

Position Summary:

Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Player Development and Video Assistant position. This position will assist the women’s basketball program with day-to-day operations.

Essential Functions:

· On-court responsibilities within NCAA rules

· Assist with video room responsibilities and management of video equipment

· Aid in preparing pregame scouting materials for coaching staff and team

· Assist with on campus recruiting, in accordance with NCAA rules

· Assist with camps and clinics

· Adhere to Duke, ACC and NCAA video policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required

· At least one year of professional or collegiate basketball experience preferably at the Division I level

· A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules

· Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends. This position will have work responsibilities around Duke Women’s Basketball games, practices and events

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

· Excellent written and oral skills

· Strong work ethic

· Proficiency with Mac systems

· Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

· Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail

· Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.


Experience

Work requires three years of experience in program administration or OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
