This is a licensed pharmacist position. The pharmacist is critical to the University Health Center (UHC). The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications to the students, faculty, staff, and affiliates of the University of Maryland in accordance with local, state, and federal pharmacy laws. This includes all aspects of workflow from typing up, filling, checking and ringing prescriptions and OTC items. The pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and inventory of medications and other pharmacy supplies. The pharmacist may be assigned other duties as needed by the pharmacy manager. The pharmacist should be able to administer vaccinations independently. This is an on-call/as-needed position only |
