The KBVR-TV Summer Post–produced Show Producer is responsible for coordinating and producing recorded and edited shows for KBVR-TV. This includes live TV shows broadcast on channel 26 and online, and the uploading of full episodes and online-exclusive content to KBVR’s online platforms, including YouTube.
Position Duties
KBVR-TV Bi-Weekly Live Show Producer Responsibilities
  • Create and oversee three episodes at least 15 minutes in length of a TV series released during Summer 2023 on KBVR-TV. Exact dates to be determined by TV Station Manager

  • Prepare to scale show up or down depending on circumstances, always having backup plans.
  • Optimize show for YouTube and upload to KBVR-TV YouTube page within 24 hours and properly label it with appropriate title, description, tags, and cover image
  • After every episode release, hold a show meeting with crew specifically to watch the episode and engage in feedback and critique.
  • Ensuring all videos (both broadcast and online) have complete and accurate captioning.
  • Share links to full episodes on YouTube immediately following the broadcast
  • Attend all cohort meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the adviser

Communication
  • Respond to emails, messages and phone calls the same day, professionally representing OMN
  • Notify adviser immediately should any ethical, legal, personnel or controversial problems occur
