Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc., an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking to recruit a Division Director for the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This non-tenure-track appointment will be made at a rank (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) and salary commensurate with experience. 
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The physician will have clinical as well as teaching and administrative responsibilities. The physician will work in the clinical outpatient area as well as in the OR, surgery center, and the inpatient units. The physician will be expected to pursue administrative and scholarly projects and participate in the training of students, residents, and fellows. Duties will include weekend and night call responsibilities in the labor and delivery unit. In addition to clinical duties in the outpatient and hospital settings, the successful candidate will be expected to work with the Department Chair and other leaders to develop the Division. This includes attention to the clinical, educational, and scholarly mission. 
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a minimum of 5 years of experience and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland at the time of appointment. 
Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
