Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Office Coordinator is a full-time, exempt position at the University of Maryland College Park’s Accessibility and Disability Service (ADS), reporting to the Assistant Director. This role involves supervising front desk administrative staff and overseeing the overall management and operations of the front desk. The Coordinator will assist in enhancing overall ADS operational efficiency Contributing to the data-driven decision-making process within ADS, a significant aspect of this role is being the primary person responsible for preparing reports utilizing data collected in the ADS client management system. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. The coordinator is responsible for all level two customer service escalations and will determine which of these need intervention by ADS leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in human services, professional office operations, and electronic client management systems.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education requirement
