The Opportunity:

UCF’s Housing and Residence Life seeks applications for a Marketing Coordinator I. This position develops and implements strategic marketing plans and cultivates strategic partnerships with departments, faculty, and community members. The Marketing Coordinator I assists with the coordination, administration, and management of various projects within the division. Additional duties include: develop creative for campaign initiatives; oversee public relations, writing, social media, and email marketing; explain facts, policies and practices related to the area.

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Assists in the creation of print and digital communications

  • Coordinates the design, branding, and maintenance of the website

  • Develops and supervises marketing and promotional materials and advertising media

Strategic Planning

  • Manages strategic forecasts and executes accounting processes related to initiatives

  • Coordinates marketing strategies, performance, and optimization for UCF marketing campaigns

Public Relations

  • Coordinates university partner relationships invested in UCF, including participating in meetings and providing marketing consultation

  • Organizes, implements, and evaluates large events and communicates with vendors to facilitate logistics of events

  • Assists in negotiating performance and reception event arrangements for public relations, promotion, and recruitment

Administrative Support

  • Coordinates and assists with program development and planning, schedule management, office related travel, and equipment

  • Provides budgetary advice and coordination support

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Master’s degree in a related field
