Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The IT Coordinator oversees the administration of the School of Public Health’s hardware, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and A/V equipment. They are responsible for developing the specifications for the hardware, developing and implementing equipment setup, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with student workers and campus colleagues to resolve problems and questions raised by the school’s faculty, staff, and students regarding SPH and UMD IT resources. The IT Coordinator is responsible for leading projects such as A/V upgrades, computer management changes, and inventory management. Responsibilities include:

Physical Demands | Ability to lift and transport computer equipment up to 60 lbs. Ability to sit and stand for long stretches of time. Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment components with manual dexterity.
