 The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Software Developer position for the Department of Radiology. The Software Developer assists the IT Database Manager with innovative strategies and technologies surrounding data collection, processing, quality control, and storage. Additional duties include database management, programming, and data delivery for research faculty. Experience as a software developer working on software applications in a professional environment. Excellent problem solving, organization and communication skills. Experience with scripting language such as Perl, Python, or R. Proficiency with SAS, SPSS and SQL. Linux and Matlab experience preferred. The candidate must have experience working within a team environment, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. The candidate must have experience in query writing (e.g., SQL) relational databases M.S. Degree in a related field and 5 years working experience. 
A Master of Science in computer science, information science, engineering, or equivalent.
