Job Summary
Responsibilities
Initiates and monitors image data retrieval and de-identification processes, and reviews output for consistency and accuracy.
Performs extractions of image data directly from clinical equipment when required.
Completes data transmittal forms and related clinical trial paperwork for imaging exams (in consultation with medical personnel when required).
Assists with image database cohort identification and building.
Participates in clinical trial training sessions for image acquisition and submission requirements.
Responds to inquiries from research teams and clinical trial coordinators.
Investigates and responds to imaging-related queries from clinical trial imaging vendors and core labs.
Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
Analyzes study-related documentation, such as protocol worksheets, procedural manuals, adverse event reports, institutional review board documents, or progress reports.
Coordinates and may participate in quality assurance reviews conducted by study sponsors, federal agencies, or specially designated review groups.
Performs other related work as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to clinical research or imaging science strongly preferred.
Experience:
One year of relevant research experience strongly preferred.
Experience with scripting languages (such as Perl, Python, etc.) strongly preferred.
Experience with clinical research or medical imaging strongly preferred.

Working Conditions
Mental Demands: This position requires the mental ability to focus on detailed tasks and analysis, sometimes working under strict time constraints, ability to work independently, ability to multitask and manage multiple patients concurrently. This position also requires reasoning, problem solving, prioritizing and dealing appropriately with others.
Physical Demands: This position requires some lifting and carrying (forms & binders), transport of imaging device components, and stretching (reaching above one's head to reach binders on highest levels of filing cabinet and bending down to access paperwork on lower level of filing cabinet), and walking (to staff offices, radiology procedure areas, clinic areas, etc.).
