UCF recruits diverse, qualified candidates for Other Personnel Services (OPS) positions to help support departments in a wide variety of temporary roles throughout the university. These administrative roles can vary in length lasting up to one year.

The Opportunity:

UCF is seeking qualified candidates to provide support for all human resources-related activities. The Human Resource Support employees will perform administrative tasks and services to maintain effective and efficient operations in our Human Resources Business Center (HRBC). Each temporary Human Resources assignment can vary in length lasting from a few days to one year of service. They can be part-time or full-time and require varying skill sets ranging from entry-level to advanced expertise. The needs of our HRBCs or Central HR can vary, and employees of diverse skills are needed for different assignments. Skills sets for these roles may be similar to the skill levels of position titles such as:

  • Human Resources Generalist
  • Human Resources Support Specialist
  • Human Resources Coordinator
  • Talent Acquisition Coordinator
  • Benefits Coordinator
  • Payroll Coordinator
  • Human Resources Assistant
  • Human Resources Clerk
  • Human Resources Partner
  • Compliance Coordinator/Partner

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated level of professional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, with the ability to train on and learn new computerized systems
  • Keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality while managing competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate and work alongside faculty, staff, students, vendors, and outside guests of the University in an effective and professional manner
  • Experience supporting HR Business Partners
  • Experience maintaining and managing data in HR systems
  • Some experience with the talent acquisition process
