The University of Central Florida (UCF) Global Marketing and Communications team is actively seeking skilled and imaginative designers to join our dynamic team as we expand our creative department for the upcoming calendar year. As a key member of the Global Marketing team, the Graphic Design Specialist I will play a pivotal role in creating compelling digital and print communications, which include forms, emails, flyers, brochures, posters, manuals, advertisements, posts, videos, and various recruiting materials. Additionally, this position is responsible for social media content generation, web and email related design, photography video production and motion graphics.

We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in print and digital design, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to large collaborative projects, work in a creative environment, and build a professional portfolio.

This is an auxiliary funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design and Visual Content Creation.

  • Media Content Capture and Editing.

  • Website Graphics and Edits.

  • Email and Social Media Graphics and Communications.

  • Form Creation and Maintenance.

  • Event Media Coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Experience in social media content generation, web and email related design, video production, photography, and motion graphics.
