Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create, edit, update and manage drupal and html based web pages and javascript code. You should be able to create UI/UX wireframes as and when necessary.
  • Manage and regularly update websites to the latest drupal security update using composer.
  • Support the student engagement team by providing web support/expertise, creating social media posts, and handling dining projects.
  • Support the dining plan office by handling the front desk, emails, phone and other services as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • This position in only open to Graduate Students currently enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Javascript.
  • HTML/CSS.
  • Content Management Systems (Drupal strongly preferred).
  • Ability to create UI/UX wireframes as and when necessary.
  • Good design skills.
  • Good communication skills.
Preferences:
Preferences:
  • Previous web development experience.
  • Previous experience with an established organization (educational or otherwise).
  • Comfortable taking initiative + creative problem solving approach.

This is a 20 hour per week, 12 month assistantship position.
