The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology is seeking a Visiting Scholar to conduct research in the lab of

Dr. Anita Saraf. This appointment will require that the incumbent work with induced pluripotent stem cells, culturing and
differentiating them into different cell types, learning basic science methods used in our laboratory including fluorescence
staining, rt-PCR, and Western blots as well as collaboratively working with other groups to establish a bioreactor for culturing
and evaluating these cells. They will also be expected to know how to work with statistical software including Prism
and or R, as well as any other assignments that the principal investigator may request.

Minimum Requirements - MD/Ph.D. specializing in Cardiology. Knowledge of basic science methods and statistical
software.
