From building access and routine maintenance to project and space requests, Facilities and Energy Services provides support for the Texas A&M University campus community, including distant site locations.

Do you enjoy analyzing and mining data to create solutions? Are you always thinking of ways to make improvements? As a Facilities and Energy Services Data Analyst, you will do just that as you conduct data queries, analysis, and mining, as well as generating reports and data visualizations to ensure success for the department and for the university. We need your ability to utilize data to ensure successful building access and contract management with Facilities and Energy Services   You will ensure data is retrieved in a systematic formal cadence and well-prepared manner, developing standardized reports and providing analysis and feedback to management. You will have the opportunity to grow your own skill set as you contribute to the success of the department

What You Need To Know

Salary is commensurate with experience with a starting range between $65,000 - $71,000.

This position is located in College Station, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as statistics, mathematics, computer science or business analytics) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 years of related experience in data analysis.

  • Proficiency in recognizing the significance of accurate data analysis and data mining in strategic contract management, and in making informed business process decisions.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

  • Proficient background in utilizing spreadsheet or visualization software within both private sector and higher education contexts.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • The well-qualified candidate will have knowledge/experience with TAMU facility management protocols and software, including AggieWorks, Insight and AiM. They will have an awareness of basic statistical analysis tools and tests and the ability to work well independently and with others.
