Job Description:

Project Manager for the CEO/EVP and Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, in collaboration with the Chief of Staff, focused on a broad range of strategic, operations and administrative support activities. 

The position is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to compile, synthesize, analyze, and present data and strategic information from a variety of sources to assist with the development and execution of key priorities for the CEO/EVP and CSTO offices.  This position will partner with necessary units to provide research support, benchmarking, data analyses, networks and project management support to enable decision making and implementation.  The position will create presentations and reports dealing with key strategic issues and present findings in a digestible format, both in writing and orally, for various internal and external audiences.

Partners with the CEO/EVP’s chief of staff and the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CSTO) to conceptualize and oversee complex projects and events within the CEO/EVP’s Office, working as appropriate with the Strategy & Transformation team and other critical functions. Assumes responsibility for the successful initiation, analyses, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of project /initiative deliverables as assigned by the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer/chief of staff in support of CEO/EVP priorities.  Works to ensure that assigned deliverables are met and that deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time. Manages obligations including time, scope of work, and project budget (as needed). Is responsible for using independent, consistent, and fair judgement to deliver expected outcomes. Develops and monitors the implementation of work plans including managing the associated activities of

various stakeholders. Establishes and nurtures constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and communicates the status of deliverables as assigned.

Ideal candidates will have proven track record of demonstrating the following skills :

Strong strategic/analytic/critical thinking skills Initiative and follow-through Ability to analyze and respond in timely manner Curiosity and industriousness to effectively dig and find data/insights (via web, leveraging network/key contacts, etc); and Ability to work independently and, at times, with limited direction Strong collaboration and communications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, research and measurement or related/relevant fields; Master's degree preferred.  Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.  Healthcare  and Hospital industry experience preferred but open to other/related fields. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of business with working knowledge of strategic planning, operations, and complex systems as foundations to enable workplan delivery. Analytical and written/oral communication skills - must be able to effectively participate in/contribute to discussions with senior leaders and stakeholders. Highly proficient with computer information systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Ability to influence the thinking of others. Requires successful completion of a background. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
