Summary of Duties:
The Energy Professional is responsible for reviewing, tracking, and processing Energy Efficiency Program sub-contractor invoices and federal reporting documents to ensure compliance. Plan and organize the retention of critical program files in a secure electronic filing system. Provide fiscal and reporting assistance to our subcontractors and community organizations assuring collaboration, continued focus, and goal achievement. Travel when necessary to conduct activities in order to assure compliance with the program's policies and procedures. Plan and participate in educational seminars and trainings related to policy and quality assurance activities.
Provide technical support to the following programs:

  • Department of Energy's Onsite Energy Partnership Program
  • Home Energy Raters System Program
  • Washington State Energy Code - Residential Program
  • Bonneville Power Administration's Energy Efficiency Programs
  • Washington State Legislature Provisos

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant program discipline. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Demonstrated fiscal and organizational skills. Demonstrated communications skills.
  • Demonstrated high-level of attention to details.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Experience with budgeting, fiscal management and grant and contract management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with federal reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of high level administrative approaches and practices.

Monthly Salary:
$3,900.88 - $5,613.47
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
