Work Schedule Summary | February-March, approximately 10 hrs/week, flexible schedule April, 15-20 hrs/week, flexible schedule May 1st- June 2nd, 30-40 hrs/week, including evening staff trainings June 3th- Aug 16th, 40 hrs/week, M-F, approx. 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m Mid-August to January, 5-10 hrs/week, flexible schedule. |

Job Summary | To further the mission of the Club U Summer Camp JV program (10-11 year olds) through the planning and delivery of program activities and events. Design and deliver program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers’ age and abilities. Assist in the management of the overall camp operation at the direction of the camp director. This is a leadership position that oversees camp counselors, schedules classes with various partners/companies, and engages with parents regarding camper behavior. |

Minimum Qualifications | Three years experience as a classroom assistant in a related academic area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); knowledge and understanding of a variety of teaching methods in order to adjust activities/training session to include participants of different ages; a thorough knowledge of related academic subjects in order to participate in developing classroom activities/programs; and demonstrated knowledge of teaching methods and communication skills to conduct educational activities and/or training sessions in a clear and concise manner required. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills are also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
