Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Documentary Film Assistant for Mason Gross School of Arts.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Edits commissioned documentary projects, including media management of both student and commissioned documentary project. 
  • Acts as Field Director of select commissioned documentary shoots, including research preparation, studio lighting and camera set-up, preparation of video and audio equipment for shoots, etc. 
  • Works with Mason Gross Communications Unit on the development and dissemination of targeted promotion products – posters, DVDs, etc.

Position Salary $20.00/hr

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years professional film/video production and editing experience.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Requires a valid drivers license.
