Summary

Oversees enrollment and revenue goals for international undergraduate and graduate students, as well as domestic graduate students by developing and implementing appropriate student recruitment strategies

Essential Job Functions

  • Directs the student recruitment teams for international and graduate students
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains external relationships with educational consultants, national governments, local embassies, alumni, current students, secondary schools, and other colleges to promote the university’s educational offerings
  • Oversees and monitors the university’s representation at international educational fairs, high schools, colleges, and embassies in support of student recruitment
  • Communicates with prospective student applicants, parents, advisors, and consultants to facilitate the admissions process
  • Researches, analyzes, implements, and updates the marketing strategy for international student recruitment
  • Manages the selection of university external partners in order to advance success in student recruitment of international students while developing appropriate metrics to measure and predict outcomes
  • Negotiates an international articulation agreement for prospective students, including developing commercial terms that are competitive in the current market
  • Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budget
  • Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Moderate amount of experience working in international recruiting or other related experience
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Proficiency with Slate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with territory management including goal-setting and process reengineering

Compensation: $115,000-$120,000/annualized

Benefits: This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, holiday pay, paid sick time, paid vacation time, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, educational assistance benefits, and an employee assistance program and travel assistance program.
