As part of the School of Public Health Lifelong Learning team, the Digital Learning Designer will collaborate with faculty, subject matter experts, digital media producers and others to help design, develop and deliver pedagogically sound digital and blended learning experiences. The Designer will bring a deep understanding of research-based teaching practices and digital instructional design, the facility to develop academic content across multiple platforms, and the ability to inspire and deliver innovative, highly engaging solutions that meet learning objectives in innovative, cost-effective ways. Collaborating with faculty on course design, technology selection, and media integration, this individual will build content and learning experiences across platforms with a range of interactive technological tools including video, problems, testing and collaboration, among others. They will assist in the preparation of visuals and scripts, working closely with faculty on approaches to online delivery of content and with editors on final production of materials. Candidate must have excellent project management and communication skills to manage the development and delivery of multiple programs, coordinating resources and managing scope, timeline and deliverables, while ensuring the highest quality of service and work products.


Bachelors degree, with 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, educational technology, digital design, or related field preferred.
