Job Description

The Fulton Schools of Engineering Development and Business Engagement Catalyst team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide essential project support.  This position will work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements; identifies and acquires necessary resources and coordinates efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year; DOE


Essential Duties

Provides operational support for development team’s fundraising efforts and the business engagement catalyst’s industry partnership efforts. Drafts fundraising materials, including donor briefings, individualized proposals, talking points, and other preparatory or follow-up correspondence. Serves as an expert to design and develop specific research and reporting methodologies and materials unique to the philanthropic and corporate engagement efforts of the Fulton Schools of Engineering. Builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to project success. Works collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure. Prepares all post-project reports, budget allocations and summaries/filings to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working in donor/prospect computer data base systems

  • Adept at navigating complex environments with evolving priorities and communication plans
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management principles, methods and techniques as applied to a specific project.
  • Experience in noticing, interpreting and anticipating concerns and potential team and/or sponsorship conflict; escalates as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of available project management applications.

Working Environment

  • Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
  • Regular review of completed tasks.
