The Digital Solutions Specialist at the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) plays a crucial role in connecting technology, business, and human processes. Under the guidance of the Digital Solutions Manager, this position supports the adoption and effective use of low-code/no-code technologies, marketing automation, and IPaaS platforms like Workato within UAGC. The role is central to UAGC's initiative to use technology for enhancing user adoption and improving workflow efficiency. The Digital Solutions Specialist collaborates with various teams to maintain a seamless and effective student experience across platforms, including student portals and all digital touchpoints.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of UAGC's digital transformation initiatives, helping integrate technological solutions with human processes to push forward digital strategies and enhance workflow efficiency.

  • Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing workflows using IPaaS platforms like Workato, ensuring smooth integration of applications and systems.

  • Help ensure a consistent and user-friendly student interaction across all digital platforms, in line with UAGC's values.

  • Work within cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and assist in developing digital solutions that meet those needs.

  • Contribute to the monitoring of the student's digital journey, identifying potential challenges, areas for improvement, and suggesting innovative solutions.

  • Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and other technical stakeholders to support the deployment of integrated marketing automation solutions.

  • Participate in the design and delivery of workflow improvements across the organization, including Salesforce and its associated platforms.

  • Support the analysis of funnel metrics to contribute to innovation and strategic planning for enhancing UAGC initiatives.

  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends, particularly in automation and IPaaS, to help maintain UAGC's leading edge in digital transformation within education.

  • Assist in advocating for student-centric initiatives by utilizing Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to aid in improving retention rates and satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and think critically.

  • Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to a variety of audiences.

  • Eager learner with a strong interest in facing new challenges and finding solutions.

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud or Education Cloud

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Workato or similar iPaaS tools

  • Low-code/ no-code development

  • Basic JavaScript

  • Basic HTML/ CSS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technologies.

  • 3+ years of experience with marketing automation platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with enterprise-level businesses.

  • 2+ years in the B2C space, preferably with experience in higher education.

  • 2+ years of experience with IPaaS platforms like Workato.

  • Exposure to agile project management principles.
