Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Leads admissions recruiting efforts internationally in order to recruit the very best and brightest applicants from around the world to the University of Chicago.
- Designs implementation strategies for international admissions goals and priorities set by AVP and University leadership.
- Works closely with AVP and senior leadership team members on international admissions planning and office strategy.
- Manages strategic planning and goal-setting for international admissions.
- Builds relationships and assesses outcomes to determine ROI.
- Supports admissions efforts by reviewing applicants for admission in assigned territory.
- Liaise with various University partners.
- Designs plans to increase brand awareness and alumni engagement as it relates to the College's admissions in the relevant region. Develops relationships with high schools and school counselors in the area. Plans and attends yield events, information sessions, and college fairs.
- Expands outreach messaging via alumni clubs and special events and/or reunions. Maintains updated alumni contact records and cultivates new contacts in appropriate industries. Manages portfolio of prospective students that require special handling.
- Performs other related work as needed.

- Maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions
- Work will take place in an office setting or remotely, during work-related travel, on and off-campus events, and application review season.
