Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This will be a position in support of the business office. This person will directly support the Director of Finance and Operations in all accounting functions. Responsibilities include monthly account reconciliations, setting up encumbrances in BA4, monitor funding for seminars and colloquiums, request disbursements, assist in budget setting for proposals and do cost transfers, all accounting operations related to the Brin MRC (tracking all expenses, preparing reimbursements and providing reports).Also, responsible for direct communication regarding reimbursements with the University of Maryland College Park Foundation.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of administrative experience, including 2 in a fiscal capacity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Kuali Financial System (KFS) – Reporting and Disbursement Voucher system.
  • Knowledge of Priority Software – BA4.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferences:
Preferences:
Experience in higher education institutions, preferably with the University of Maryland College Park campus and familiarity with the University of
Maryland College Park Foundation systems.

The salary range for this position will be in the $70,000’s – $80,000’s
